Hello friends, I recently set up a new setup
CPU: Ryzen 5900x
Motherboard: Asus Dark Hero
Memorys: G.Skill Tridentz Neo 4x8GB 3800Mhz CL14
Now I am trying to make an improvement in the times of the memories and I managed these times, I would like to be given your opinion, I am very new in overclocking!
Right now I have FCLK 1900MHZ without any error in the OCCT
I would like to raise the memories to 4000MHZ to get 1: 1 FCLK 2000MHZ
Could someone help me get 4000MHZ CL15?

I would get all the voltages stable first. i.e. SOC VDDG etc

Start with loose timings. 4000MHZ 2000 FLCK, 18-18-18-18 1.5V rest auto and see if you can boot. If your Latency is over 70 in Aida64 mem bench then you will need to raise your voltages until its stable. Once stable you can fine tune your timings.

And as for the 3800MHz photo times, would you make any adjustments? I'm still very young in this business, so all the tips are very lifelike

These are mine, but for 2x 16gb

You could try copying all the one you have set higher except

tRDRDDD set to 4
tWRWRDD set to 6

Did you monitor the Ram temps? if they're going over 50C on TM5 it will throw errors.

Also I can only run that configuration using the Asus Dark Hero with BIOS 3003. Any different BIOS makes it unstable too.

Well, maybe it's the BIOS, I'm using the latest BETA version for DARK HERO!
My speeds are very similar to yours, the big difference is in the latency, because I only get values of 57.1 while you get 55
Will I be with 4x8GB?

I tried the Beta BIOS and while those timings worked, I got loads of errors in memory tests. Going back to BIOS 3003 required a flashback which reset the entire BIOS to factory settings, but at least those ram timings are stable.

There will be no difference between 2x16 and 4x 8 with the same timings. Getting the same timings though on 4x8 maybe harder, but gif you're nearly there already, you should be able to get the stable. Best wait for a new BIOS to come.

Hi mate - I can’t get anywhere near this!! :(

Running a 5950x, the same ram as you have here. Cannot get a 1900 fclk to work - insta kills the machine and have to clear cmos.

Setting the fclk to 1800 and the ram to 3600hz, my latency gets down to 63ns... which all things considered isn’t bad but surely it could be better. Do you have any recommendations of things to try? Thanks.

Should be able to get 3733 with 5950x. I can't get 3800 with mine either, can get 3833 into win but runs slow. Should also be able to get your latency down to around <57ns at 3733 with 4 sticks, and 1t / GDM disabled.

Two things you can try to verify.

Take A1/B1 sticks out and try with just 2 sticks of Ram in A2/B2 slots. You should technically be able to run Those settings with Gear Down disabled too with 2 x8GB Ram

Revert back to 3003 Bios and try that. Thats the most stable Bios I have found for this Ram.
