G Skill Z5 CK Review Sample

Nice mirror finish but how's the weight/heft on these?

G.SKILL always seem to have the flimsiest of heat spreaders compared to rest of enthusiast brands meaning having to throw a fan over them.

Nice video btw - very optimum-esque.

These are weighty, i've no idea what material it is but at a guess i'd say aluminium.

Just finishing the build at the moment so once that's done i'll post some temps on before and after overclocking inc XMP.

This set is rated for 8400mhz and it's a 2 x 24gb kit.

Thanks dude! Trying different things at the moment to make the content abit nicer and professional.

I believe its an indication that this kit contains the Clock Driver.

Correct, the CK part of the name is due to the CKD driver which sits on the memory model, it's very much like a re-driver for the memory system.

I've had mine for a few weeks now but have not played around with them too much

With all the work i've got going on at the moment i've not had chance to test it properly yet, gimme another week at least to test and play.
