Are there any other brands like these (just wondering :D) and does anyone know an online shop that supplies any of these items for decent prices?

Trying to get in with the kids that sit at the back of the bus huh?

Not at all.. Just really like the G-Star range and wondered if there was any other brands like G-Star? I bought something from them today and despite the price, I am really liking the quality of their stuff and it has made me realise that paying slightly more for clothes is worth it. :p

Is it actually acceptable to wear Superdry? I've heard it labelled as a 'chav' brand by some, but I think their stuff looks quite good. I see quite a few people with the jackets, the other stuff is less noticeable.

Ask yourself....

Exactly how "cool" is a brand that EVERYONE and his dog are wearing?

I don't have a clue.. see that's what happens.. people start branding certain clothes.. and knowing my luck, i'd have gone out and bought a load of superdry stuff :p

Really? I like some of their stuff but never bought it because I don't want to be labeled a chav.

A chav brand, making a sweeping generalisation/stereotyping, would surely be a brand that isn't very expensive.

Superdry isn't cheap but their jackets are everywhere at the moment.

It is tricky to wear such a brand on a night out though. The number of times i have seen 5+ guys in the same club wearing the same Superdry/Topman/Firetrap/etc. :p

With help from the bf.. Firetrap, Gio Goi, Fred Perry, Diesel, FCUK, Henleys

Fred Perry has become more high street. I i personally think the brand is on a bit more of a decline because there are so many people wearing their polo shirts and own a Fred Perry bag. :p

Diesel will never go 'out'. Always a safe brand.

I have a Superdry trench coat, I love it, it's a brilliant coat.

Do I care that it seems to be warn allot by Rah's? No, because I like it.

Does wearing it mean I am somehow part of their subculture? No.

Have I found a coat of equal quality for the same price from a brand that is less well known? No.

If you find an item of clothing, hell anything you like, don't ignore it simply because it's popular either in general or with a certain subculture, all that matters is if YOU like it. If anything it's the people who try SO hard to be "different" by passing by great brands that I think are more superficial than the 3 people wearing the same coats because they are just good coats.
