G-Sync Info

Hi, I've never used a G-Sync monitor and I'm just wondering what happens when you're capped at the refresh rate with a G-Sync panel.
Is V-sync enabled and therefore you get input lag? Or is it like Fast Sync where you get no tearing and no input lag?

Vsync gets enabled. You then get smeary mouse i.e. inputlag.

Turn off Vsync in Nvidias Controlpanel - Manage 3D Settings - Global.

Cap fps or let them flow, be wary of possible tearing past your Hertz cap.

So it's better to just use Fast Sync if you can keep a constant 60fps?

No, use Gsync and cap FPS to 58/59.

What is "Fast Sync" and why 60fps?
