G-sync Keeps breaking (since they changed it)

Anyone having an issue with G-sync just stopped working since they changed the way it works, i have to keep reinstalling the drivers every time and it's getting beyond a joke. So fed up.

Disable the new Windowed G-sync stuff and set Vsync to on in the control panel? This should replicate how it used to work, no?

Yea thats how it should work but mine keeps breaking, random points in the day three times now it just stops working regardless of settings, regardless of rebooting my pc until i do a clean reinstall of drivers and set everything back to defaults. But it happens when i havent even changed any settings! Getting so frustrating.

So i may have figured it out.
When i individually change a game setting in the nvidia option to play w/o gsync and on a fixed refresh rate it changes it for EVERY thing but doesnt show in global settings, so i have to manually do it for games i dont want gsync with... very odd
