G-sync monitor on a 5700XT?

Hey guys,

Im debating weather or not to change up my system. I have a Asus PG278QR monitor.

and would it work ok even though its not a FreeSync monitor?

Also, im thinking of going back to 1080p gaming for some 240Hz action, so would a RTX 2080 be overkill? Would a 2060 super / RTX 2070 suffice???

need a new GPU guys, really thinking of a 5700XT. Will it be ok for gaming on a G Sync monitor.

Or would a second hand 1080 NON ti be decent??

Decent yes but not amazing, plus only pay about 150ish for it.

In all honesty if you have a Gsync monitor then stick with nVidia, it'll work best and give you the best experience.

£150 for a gtx 1080, what site do you get these from?
