I was thinking about getting an Asus ROG Swift PG278Q 27 for my setup.

Below are my specs please let me know if anyone see me having an issue

asus sabertooth z77
i2500k @ 4.5
8GB Corsair dominator 1600MHz
asus gtx 970
seasonic g series 650w
corsair 600T case
2 solid state drives 120GB and 250GB
1 platter drive 1TB

Similar set up to mine only I have a 980, so not much in it at all. I picked up the Dell G-sync yesterday and the 980 has little difficulty stepping up to 1440p.

I'd just go for it, it's a massive upgrade from 1080p.

Thanks I think I will get it, I really wanted an ips monitor as I do watch movies n stuff but I can't afford one of those. TN isn't that bad for movies anyway.
