G-Sync off ?

OK I have this monitor

and in the OSD under "Mode" G-Sync is not showing , just says "Normal " .
Resolution 1920 x 1080 .

Max Refresh Rate 144 Hz .

Mode Normal .

any ideas please ?

The only way to turn G-sync on is through the nvidia control panel

Well via the OSD it clearly said " G-Sync " and since its been saying normal...my games are not runing the same either .

the monitor is not good ?

Does the Acer Predator monitor not have a G-Sync LED light like the Asus Swift does ?

Nope lol...but i have an update...it seems that i have to turn V-Sync off ingame/s ..but on in NCP ......who knew!!!! lol

If that panel is anything like other gsync panels which i think it is it will simply tell you what state it is in based on what you set it to in the nvidia control panel. So go in there and look for the gsync tab. Now if you have already set gsync to on in the nvidia control panel and your panel still says normal when in a game then your driver is borked and you need to fix that and as you seemed to have figured out yourself vsync in most games needs to be set to off in the game.
