G-Sync or Freesync ?

OK so I'm looking to get either a Freesync Monitor or G-Sync, Although I'm leaning more towards G-Sync...not sure if monitor size makes any difference here though ..so either 24" or 27" ?...at the moment I'm running two 27" non G-Sync 144Hz Monitors.

Well I have a 290x in a box ...But I tend to like Nvidia more....do games look/play smoother on gsync...or are both the same >?

OK so lol.....is there any real difference using gsync on a 24" or either a 27" ?

Yeah i got a freesync monitor ...and well....im not that taken with it , the only thing that i noticed was my fps holding at 144-151 @1920x1080...but i had to have Vsync on for that other wise it was just the same as not having a freesync monitor , this also makes me thing would i again be wasting money by trying out g-sync, and not using freesync, and just having Vsync on a get the same results

yeah i guess...thing is using my 290x and playing project cars and euro truck simulator the games are not as smooth as they are when using my 980

Sorry I meant to ask...is Freesync only through DP or is it also through HDMI too ?
