Hi everyone, I was wondering if there are going to be any cheap(er) IPS G-Sync monitors coming soon as the cheapest I can find currently is a 4K version at around £550 which is a tad pricey for a monitor.

So, does anyone know when a price drop or cheaper variants might happen and also if there are any Freesync and Gsync monitors that might help me stomach the price as it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't locked into to one product eco-system :)

I was wondering the same thing a while ago. It seems almost like there is price fixing on GSYNC as it just doesn't seem to be coming down in price, despite being 'old tech' now.

If anything I thought we might see a price increase with faster DP 1.3/1.4 monitors (when they are available), as they will require a new version of G-Sync to operate at the faster speeds, so I've been informed anyway. They can't just slap on the same version that is used on existing monitors.

Nvidia will milk their proprietary products so I don't see any price dropping at all. More than likely go up.

Damn, so I guess there will be no cheaper monitors. Shame as they are good but very expensive for what they are :(
