I have a Dell U3014 and been looking at the 21:9 34" displays.
There is a Dell U3415 which seems to have good specs and I've always been happy with Dell's (I've had a 24, 27 and now 30)
The g-sync monitors seems to be 300-400 more. e.g Asus PG348Q and acer x34a
Would I really notice the difference? As far as i know i think they use the same panel anyway?
Use as a secondary screen for a work laptop (work from home) and occasional gaming (not as much as I used to!)
