G-Sync & SLI

If the game/driver supports sli well then you'll likely notice little difference, its when you hit those games that have poor support you really notice it.

Personally a single 980ti/fury x + a 1440p 144hz gsync/freesync screen is the sweet spot at the moment.

It's not always that simple. Most games work very well with gsync and SLI and are just as smooth as with one card (or even 'better' due to higher fps).

However, there are a few games out there that have issues with SLI and gsync and a particular type of stutter that's introduced. I did a shed load of testing, and some workaround fixes earlier in the year on this - Do a search on here for some posts I've made if interested.

I've had a few issue where sli doesn't work with some games but not G-Sync. It always works, I notice when I turn it off. Could you name the games where there is stutter?

do people find it's better to set a frame limit when using gsync?
I have the Acer XB280HK and been setting it to 59fps just to remove the jumping around of the frames as much.

G-Sync works absolutely fine with SLI for me, SLI works absolutely fine with 99% of the games worth playing, never noticed any "lag" or "micro-stutter" when using it and that goes back to the nforce 4/6800 Ultra era.
