g1 970 gpu flash help.

You update to the bios in the same series.

Your currently on F40 bios.

You want the F42 bios from here.

When you extract the folder you will find two different files. The only difference is you use the one that corresponds to which video output your using to connect GPU to monitor.

It tells you in the included PDF file. (Needs to be done over DVI)

Oh and crucially I had to disable the gpu in the control panel, before it would let me flash. Otherwise I was just getting funky colours on screen

okay. i backed my old bios up. there is only one.

with the updated bioses there is two different ones. one is DP, one is DD. if i need to reflash do i just do the one bios two times ?

or have i got to detach monitor and put in other connector DD then back up that bios first ?

cheers for any help.

also can i not just flash the one connector i use ?
