Received yesterday this keyboard, today got my hands on it!

maybe we can use this thread to share opinions,
how everyone assigns macros/g-keys, etc. ;)

Trying to set profile for Mass Effect- when click on Profile-New-There's : Select games executable, what is this for?
So is it possible to create profile for any game?

when selected Mass effect.exe nothing happens actually,
also when Scanning for Games- it does not find, why is that?

I managed set some G-keys for M.E. when playing using MR button for quick assigning!

thanks

Let me know how you find it. I'm currently gaming on a comfort curve 2000 keyboard, and I like the really low profile keys. I've read really good reviews about the G11. But I don't know whether I'd regret buying it if I don't like it. Don't exactly want to waste £25.

£25 is a superb deal. Had mine for about a year now and never had any problems, only good experience with it. (;

Buy it, if you don't like it you can DSR it back to OcUK. But I promise you, that you won't want to return it once you have used it.

ggg... no one answered my questions :(someone? :P

have to get use yo it, as was using wireless desktop for 2 years, main reason was backlit as during nights missing buttons when typing, lol :D
and G-keys as gaming mass effect/warhammer :P

I got mine last Friday.
I went from a comfort curve 2000 to the G11.
The keys are not low profile but it did not take long to adjust.
Great keyboard!

When the keyboard detects the exe has run it will activate the appropriate profile you have made for it. The scanning tool doesn't always work so its best to do it manually, infact the best way I find of doing it is manually whilst ingame so I don';t have to bother with the software that much

I like the G11/G15 series keyboards, they have a nice feel, and are not low profile laptop keys (I dislike the laptop style keyboards). They come with a g-profile application which lets you configure the g keys to each and every applications. With many games you can program the G keys to activate any game control, and unsupported games can still be handled, as you can assign any key combination to the keys, and use the ingame key mapper.. Or you can record a number of keypresses into a macro and assign that to a G key instead.

Just 1 word of warning, if you play MMORPG's dont use the G keys to perform tasks that the game doesnt normally permit (IE using 1 macro to string together multiple attacks for example). In WOW for example the safe rule is "if you cant do it with ingame macros/addons" then dont do it with the G11/G15 macro keys.

Having this keyboard for about a month...

Can say happy with it, as G' keys very handy in some games, also during night no need for lamp,..but as for typing, still can't get use to it, my old Lx10 feels so much better!

Mine is on it's way back for an RMA due to defective keys on the number pad. Made 2 videos outlying the problem so I have a direct reference.
