The G15 is a great keyboard, even better coz i got it for nothing for free, one thing that does really bother me tho is the USB ports on the KB its self , no matter what i plug into then be it a mobile phone, digital camera,mp3 player, satnav every single thing i get an error saying "not enough power to power the device" or words to that effect so i have to ass about moving the pc to plug things in the back

does any one else get this error ? is there a way to fix it ?

I have the software installed its the latest afaik, the logitech profiler ?

Is that the driver ?

Yeah, its something to do with the keyboard drawing a lot of power. Since you can only have 500mA on any one USB plug, it means the hub is limited to 1.1 speeds anyway. Mine works with Memory sticks, but not my mouse.

Yeah this is pretty annoying actually. I've got a fairly old case which doesn't have USB ports on the front, and it is an absolute pain having to shift my tower about to get access to the USB ports on the back (even then there aren't enough).

So I've got 2 USB ports on the my keyboard which I can't use, seems a bit rubbish really. The irony is, the fact it is only USB1.1 wouldn't matter for the vast majority of devices, except of course storage devices like USB keys :/

Seems like a bit of a marketing gimmick to me.

Yeah i had the same issues , i ended up getting a cheapo USB hub from a supermarket and it works a treat :)

I have plugged my wheel / joystick / mouse / usb key(s) into the G15 and no problems apart from it being slow for data transfer of course ... this was after finding the right port on my pc!

Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port on your computer as - an try them all just in case.
