I agree, too, the orange backlighting just looks tacky, it's lost most of the G keys, I dislike the ability to close the screen (can prove useful when not wanting to be distracted), it's lost the volume dial, and the M buttons (top left) look difficult to press.
 
The red backlight isn't particularly nice and it's got a lot less additional function buttons. V1 has a nice cool blue backlight.

Interesting.. can i just ask how wide in cm is the V1?

Also, do you really use all the g keys? If so what for?
 
ok, the v2 has lost some weight, toned its body, and removed excess wastage

sounds good to me, though the orange is perhaps not the best choice of backlight colour

saying that i was never a fan of the v1, didnt need the screen, and didnt need any of those macro keys, so never looked twice at a g11 or 15
 
Get V2, without a doubt.

Less G keys which makes it look tidier and the screen is better implemented onto the actual keyboard itself.

Previously owned a V1, will be getting a V2 for my new build. :)
 
Hmm, i dont play WoW or anything like that.. only fps. So i dont think il need the G keys. What else would you use them for?

Maros? :confused: This like shortkeys?
 
Can you use the macro buttons to select differnt weapons in css? Like when you click b you can have your favourte guns there. Can you set up a g key for that?

For all the reasons posted above i.e. horrid backlit colour, tacky looking screen and loss of macro keys

Whoever designed the new version did it on the back of a fag packet ;)
 
As a V1 owner I initially looked at the V2 and thought how nice it looked but the more I looked at it the more I realised it's pretty horid..
 
V1 definatly, Blue > Orange and the v2 seems to have dropped some G-keys :(.
Also, the media keys looks rly bad on the new version.
