The status quo

What I don't understand is the presence of the anti-war protestors. Where's the relevance here? None that I can see.

Yep exactly, I don't understand. Why don't you start a political party? And then when you don't get popular support you'll realise how people out on the streets today are simply trying to force their oopinions above everyone else's (of course they are failing miserably).

But what would you want the revolution to achieve ? I don't understand ?, what would you be revolting against ?

its impossible anyway....you rely on human nature to be able to live together to achieve this revolutionary nirvana

but it doesnt work like that...people in general are crap and behave crapply to one another and its only the state thats stops people by and large doing this

if the state is dismantled whats to stop people who are bigger, stronger and nastier than you taking everything they want?

whether people like ot or not the 'state' if people want to call it that keep people in line and without that anarchy ensues and people lives are worth nothing..I'm not sure anarchists really understand the true meaning of the word

But what would you want the revolution to achieve ? I don't understand, what would you be revolting against ? I don't see how a revolution would solve our current problems.

Exactly, I can only imagine he wants his political particular party to be in power. Can't get anywhere via a democratic process, so REVOLUTION!

The pound is being devalued and taxes over the next few hundred years will pay for the mistakes of the banks and filthy rich.

You realise the economy is far shorter memory than hundreds of years right?

How else do you get them to listen? In America the right to bear arms was put there so that "the people" could stand up to out of control governments, sometimes violence is the only way and America's founding fathers knew it.

If Hitler was our PM and had just removed our right to vote I might agree with you but "getting rid of capitalism and a central Government" is a silly idea.

If they come up with a workable solution and had any idea how the economy works themselves then I might listen.

Change to what? Sounds like Obama-rip off conservative propaganda.

I will be voting conservative. I just chuckle at their "change" line.

Reform of government. Get rid of the current glut of career politicians who are hell bent on peeing money up the wall on ever poorer public services, chipping away at our civil rights, costing us a fortune in salaries, going against public will on important decisions, etc etc. Replace them with a more modest government of people who actually represent the populous.

Right because, you advocate a gun battle on the streets today? The constitution allows defence when something is illegal. So basically the buildings getting attacked today could in theiry open fire on the violent thugs.

But what would you want the revolution to achieve ?
A new system not tied down by all the red tape and beurocracy that has caused so many of our governments current problems

I don't understand, what would you be revolting against ?
The current corrupt beurocratic nonsense that has started us down this path to economic and social oblivion!

I don't see how a revolution would solve our current problems.

It might not but it can't be any worse than our current situation where we're cowtowing to the ****** Idiots that got us into this mess in the first place!

hang on, aren't most Anti-capitalists just bored so called job seekers that sponge of the social which is funded by taxing capitalists.. Hmmmm

Sorry if I'm generalising but then again, aren't they doing the same against all city workers and bankers!

BBC is now saying that the plod has penned everyone into the square and is claiming they have been ordered to keep everyone there.

So what happened to being able to protest peacefully without harassment from the plod? Brown is slowly taking us nearer and nearer to a Stalin like regime

Funny how you call Brown, Stalin, who was a communist. Isn't the whole anti capitalist protest basically swaying towards communism and marxism? :]
