right...

i thought the G25 feedback in GT5P was pretty good all in all, but that was before i stuck on the DiRT demo

the feel of the wheel is loads better, and the quality of the hardware really shines through, steering feels really nice and heavy :)

GT5P is still by far the prefered game, but my hat goes off to codemasters for how they got the FF to really work for them... it almost makes me wanna buy grid, but then there's the overriding factor that the game is uber-cack :p

but yeah, after experiencing dirt (was in the scooby in particular) anyone think the GT5P feedback is a bit pap?

The problem I have with race sims on the pc is the need of a keyboard. Its too akward for me.

My G25 doesn't work with the dirt demo, kinda annoying. I should just buy it as the only game I've used my g25 with is GT5p.

thats kinda the way i'm thinking, not making good use at the mo of this brilliant bit of kit...

spose i should give some pc games a try, but i have all but stopped pc gaming (sold my main rig, bought a ps3 and pocketed the difference ;))... now i have a re-vamped shuttle running a P4 and an X800 XT PE, should run LFS but doubtful about more modern stuff...

all in all though i really do prefer console gaming, just can't wait for GT5! - if they improve the FFB, add damage, decent multiplayer facilities and put the VTEC sound into all the hondas i wont be leaving my living room for a while :D

EDIT: oh, and itd be nice if they properly supported the G25 and added an option of a permanent clutch ;)
