G25 Repair

The USB cable on my G25 got mashed and made it unusable so I decided to cut the cable (near the plug) and try to re-wire it myself, that....didn't work out. Anyone know how I could fix it?

I couldn't do it...Gave up trying to open up the USB plug.

Could try bringing it to some electronic shop or maybe even a local phone shop, there's bound to be someone who's handy with a solder who can do it for you.

Random one, not sure if it'll work but:

Why not get another usb cable, cut it a couple of inches from the plug, strip about 1cm of it, do the same to the wheel cable then twist the ends of each of the little cables inside together and tape it all up. It's a botch job but that's the way i roll.

^lol Thought about that but the wires are really tiny...Looks like i'll have to take it to a pro. :/
