Hey there,

I just got my Logitech G25 yesterday and i got a copy of RFactor. I am not to sure if this is a fully copy or not. I install it and then i downloaded a patch which was basically installing the game again. I then tried to launch and it said Either Trial or Buy for $39.99.

Does anyone know if it is a full game or trial. I am just not sure after i installed the patch which was basically installing again (not sure if this is the cause). There is nothing on the disc that says either Trial of Full Game.

You won't be disappointed with rFactor. There are so many good car mods and tracks available now, and the online code is fantastic. I've driven in races with 40 other people online and that's amazing - it's also carnage but it's amazing.

Check out rfactorcentral.

You won't be disappointed.

Cheers, Russell

Yep, I agree. I play GTR2 (great offline with the different weather) and LFS (amazing online with race after race after race) and they're all great.

Also remember Richard Burns Rally, and you'll love it with that wheel.

My favourite online racer.
Mods are what makes this game the best as modders spit them out on a weekly basis giving you new cars and tracks to enjoy.
e.g.
2006 F1 Season Extreme.

Touring cars V1.2.

TPCC Stock cars.

etc etc etc

Also there is a new version of Nords out.

The list is endless & all available at RSC.

Thanks guys, Will defo get this game. Found a site to purchase it off, i imagine i just buy a "code" then download the game and were off. I am really enjoying GTR 2. I have never played a sim game before, never been the biggest driving fan. Took me a while to get used to the clutch and a 6 speed H shifter. But gettin better everytime.

You will all laugh at this time probably but i managed to get 2 min 22 secs round Spa 2004 in a Ferrari 575, was quite impressed with myself using the Clutch, H shifter and no Aids on.

Cant wait to get Rfactor though, i have seen some of the mods out for it and it looks fantastic.

Got Rfactor Installed and all paid for now. Looks quite a sweet game, Let the mod downloading begin. I seen a video of a mod with the Historic rally cars, Quattro, Delta's etc etc, looks amazing.

My favourites are

PCC Germany - I keep coming back to this one, the skins are amazing and the racing is nice and close

rF3 - Open wheeler racing that's not too fast but keeps things nice and close

ETCC - great looking mod which is a lot of fun online

V8s and Bathurst - this track is really great.

Formula BMW

Lienz series and track - great fun and great looking series and is standard rFactor.

Also remember SLNs texture updates.

See you online soon. Look for the www.teamfog.us server if you want to find some fair racers who love rfactor.

Cheers, Russell aka Rooster Cogburn
