Anyone here purchased a G25 stand before? Been looking to get one because my desk is pretty bad for it... Keeps slipping a lot etc.

Don't want to spend more than 140 Pound on one though. How much did you pay for yours and where did you get it from? Would prefer a UK retailer.

Cheers

I didn't purchase a stand, I got a collapsible race seat from Game Racer. Good, but the size and awkward underside of the pedals mean they eventually come off (usually pretty good for a while after being stuck on the platform). Thinking of selling it though... It needs dedicated space TBH.

Cannot really recommend anything else though. Maybe Fanatecs Rennsport Wheel Stand? They seem to have adaptors and stuff for the G25.

I think I'm going to put an order in for wheelstandpro. I've looked around the site and it doesn't say how long it takes for delivery. If you purchased one from that site how long did it take for yours to arrive?

Cheers

I have one too, took about 6/7 days for mine to arrive,if i recall correctly.

My wheelstandpro took 3 days. Depends on how lucky you are with international shipping. They did suggest it would normally be about a week on the website when I ordered mine. Still does on the buy online page:
About a week after you order you will have a postman at your door with a package. Now you are only about 10 minutes before you start enjoying your games like never before.

I only have the DFP / generic one, because I had a DFP when I got it. This was quite a while ago now so the design may have changed since then. Well built and much more stable than you would expect, although I had to tighten a couple of the things that you aren't "meant" to tighten as the bar at the end of the pedals came off a couple of times (really not a problem). The G25 wheel does just about fit on it, and the pedals again just about fit, and obviously no space for the shifter. Not a problem though since you can just order the proper one.

The GT3 RS wheel however does not fit on mine without some heavy improvisation :(. Took me four hours to find a solution to attach it. That is down to fanatec's annoying clamping system though and I'll drill it into the WSP if I get round to it

Hi guys....

I will be covering a comparison of both the Wheel Stand Pro & the Fanatec Renn Sport Wheel Stand. These products we already know are great from owners comments and reviews already done and its more I think a decision on choosing which one suits your own needs or preferences.

What I havnt seen anywhere on the internet is a proper 1:1 comparison that helps people answer that question. Ive requested these products for a fair and properly detailed comparison from each manufacturer. Sean & Darin did a good video on SRT which helped many people probably decide on which to get. My personal interest is in providing a simplified yet detailed review with full pictorial.
Sebastian has kindly sent me out the "Wheel Stand Pro Duo" at very short notice but Im waiting on Thomas getting me the Fanatec model shipped. (seems hes very busy lately)...

This comparison will be done to the level of detail of a previous thread I did at the GTForums.
see here:

The Wheel stand review/comparison will have:
Over 50 detailed photos
Show unique detail of each products components
Each product will be tested and photographed with several wheels individually.

Comparisons to be concluded:
Dimenssions of each unit
Compare heights & adjustments
Folding/ease of use
Stability
Compatibility

Evaluation will be completed and subject to:
Features & Compatibility
Build & Working Performance
Value for money
Conclusion

Hope it helps...
