i've been playing Live For Speed and GTR Evo and i'm having so much fun even with my crappy £30 wheel.

So i've been thinking of spashing out and getting the g25 but its a lot of money for a wheel.

What have been your experiences and is it worth the money?

I havent got one but from reading what people are saying it is an awesome piece of kit, especially if u are enjoying playing those games as it is.

Yes it is a lot of money to shell out, but its going to last you years. I suppose it will always hold its value aswell...

Sure it's an awesome piece of kit, but at that money, it makes me wonder, if it's not better to buy a 10-50 quid banger, and reserve a few laps on a real track instead :p.
Can't beat the real deal.

I have a MSFF,Momo and of course a G25, if the G25 broke today I'd go straight out and buy another without even trying the other wheels again.

You can't compare a cheapo wheel with the G25, for one thing it will outlast the cheapo many times over, being ultra critical, the wheel is a little small but then it is bigger than most.

It's only an expensive piece of kit if you don't use it much and tbh costs less than a good graphics card which you'll not need for LFS & GTR ;)

If you get an opportunity, try one, you'll see the light in under 5 seconds.

I love my G25, and as mentioned if you use it enough it's not that expensive really.

I play iRacing, and the difference between my old MSFF wheel (which cost me £99 back in 2003/4 when I bought it :o) and the G25 is massive, doesn't make me faster as such but with the extra rotation slides are so much easier to catch/hold as it's more linear (as in 1:1 between G25 and the sim's wheel)

But I play iRacing for at least an hour or so most nights, and have done since august, so £160 ish for that isn't much really, if it was only an hour or so a week, or less, then it might be over the top...

I would definately reccomend a 900 degree wheel though.

Only got a £40 wheel myself but tried a g25 out at a friends and i must say it is a fantastic wheel if your really into racing sims and racing games. I am also into those games but i must say, i dont have many and nor do i play them all the time. So it depends really, whether you would use it as the quality is great on the g25 and its a good experience. ;)

I Also play LFS and GTR EVO I also own a G25, If your can afford it i cant think of a single reason why you shouldn't buy one, When i purchased mine i thought i was crazy paying 180 pounds for what is a toy, but what a toy it is, it makes playing all round 100% better.

The force feed back is extremely realistic on Live for speed and the g25 combo.
Doing hotlaps with full clutch and H-shifter plus the RB4 or any of the LX cars brings a smile to ones face :D

Its by far the best wheel I've ever used and the build quality of the thing i see it lasting at least 3-4 years. With pure abuse in that period.
