Have been looking for a wheel setup for playing Assetto Corsa and Project Cars when it comes out.
Nearly all forums seem to recommend going with the T500. Appreciate that at the moment the T500 is double the price. But is it really worth spending that kind of money?
Is it just aT500 fan-boy thing that the G27 is a poor wheel and more like a toy as many say. Would a novice to 'racing-sim-games' really notice the difference.
Getting a wheel at end of the month and can afford the T500, but If I can get a new G27 for half the price is it a better deal?
Had a shot of a friend system using a TX Ferrari wheel and had a blast. Only ever played games like COD and the latest racing games have kind of shocked me on how good they are.
Thanks for any advice.

started with Microprose Grand Prix, Papyrus Nascar & Indycar racing, and finally the king, GPL. Today I will try RC1.04 of Assetto Corsa with my Logitech Driving Force Pro and see if this is the next big thing. If it is, I'm getting T500 with wheel stand pro, because at the moment fortunately I can afford it. I'm not fooling myself, being grown adult with family, I don't have the time I wished I had for games any more. But you have to have some fun in life
