G27 REVIEW!!!!!!!!!

So they added some extra buttons in a position that looks tricky to reach comfortably, took away the sequential shift and thats pretty much it? Was hoping for some more features and less plastic.
The change of the gears for the wheel is no doubt a nice one if it is as smooth as they claim, but without having a go with one I can't really say.

I'd say it definitely isn't worth upgrading from a G25 unless you can do it for practically no financial loss.

I found this over on the Logitech forums.

As a final statement of this topic: We'd really like to provide a true Force Feedback device for the Xbox 360, and we've been wanting to for a while. Think about it rationally: It only makes sense we'd want to sell our products to the largest audience possible. That being said, there are external factors that have been preventing us from doing so. I can't specifically get into the details beyond that, but let it be known that we aren't intentionally ignoring the Xbox 360 market at all.

But while we own the product, the console company owns the licensing. Also, since we're such a large company, we really have to dot our "i"s and cross our "t"s. Beyond that, I can't get into the guts of it because a lot of it is NDA information.

That's from CharlesB on the Logitech Production Team.

So it seems it's down to Microsoft to licence the product to work on the Xbox 360 in the first place.
