G29 not working

so we just got a G29 steering wheel and pedals. we can get it to work on one game on the PS4 ( none of the rest are supported!!) but we cant get it working on dirt 3 on the PC!! now I had the g27 working on this yesterday

cant get either to work on grid though :mad:

any tips on getting the g29 working?
 
yip this is the problem. ive set it up with my PC and its working with Dirt Rally but not dirt 3. ive also got the G27 which worked with Dirt 3 straight up. Im starting to wonder which one to keep. going to try the G27 with Dirt Rally and see how it does.
 
yea its Windows 10. scary thing is the G27 seems to work with more games that we have than the G29 does. so far the only game I can get the G29 working with is Dirt Rally and my lad doesnt have that installed on his PC...

went for the newer one thinking it had PS4 support for my lad.. its not compatible with the games he plays... off to buy a thrustmaster tomorrow and see what games I can get the G27 working with as so far it works with Dirt Rally and Dirt 3 which is a step up from the G29...

this fat man carry on has a lot to answer to.. so far its cost me a fortune on steering wheels and pedals...

anyone looking at getting a G29!!!

Ive got it working with Dirt Rally and ive managed to get it working with dirt 3 to a degree ( no force feedback ) so yea it does work but its not suited for my lad as it wont work on the the crew on the PS4

we have ordered the thrustmaster T80 as this is fully compatible with his PS4 ill either see if I can return the G29 or try and get my money back on it.

well keep the G27 as this will work on the PC

good to know it works on forza horizon 3. yea we had it working on Dirt Rally and Dirt 3 but so does the G27. the main issue were having is we bought it thinking it would be compatible with the PS4 but The crew doesnt support it which is the problem as thats the main game he plays on his PS4. It doesnt work on The crew on PC either.

maybe a firmware update is needed, this was the case with my thrustmaster tx useless until the firmware was updated

Yea I saw that list aswel hence I bought it. but the folks on the ubisoft forum say different.

yea I tested the PS3 and PS4 mode.
as I say I mananged to get it working on dirt 3 and dirt rally but the list of compatible games for the lads PS4 was the killer.
