Is it concerning to have a G3220 at 52 degrees max, usually in the low 40's. It has a 4670k heatsink fitted to it, with no other fans inside.
There are 3 fans inside but it gets a bit noisy when they are wires up.
It will possibly spend a few days on at a time. Its used for media playing and sharing

No problem at all, max temp on Ivybridge is 105C, I believe, at which point the CPU would throttle.

That is fine, with bad airflow on a stock cooler on my i5 3570k I remember GTA IV use to make it hit 80c, just getting a exhaust fan dropped it a lot though.

This is Haswell though. I think I read somewhere the max for this is 72. I've ordered a lead from here so my fans will change with the cpu temp. I think I will try resitting the heat sink as well as I used intels standard stuff that was already applied to the heat sink

52c max doing what? I have the same CPU but with two case fans I don't think mine gets that hot,you need an intake/exhaust fan imo

Just general use nothing to strenuous. Yeah I'm thinking I will have to connect up the fans I have
