Just noticed a PayPal transaction come through. It seems that I Subscribed to g2a shield.
Bur I use PP so I would never o that. Online chat below. All of a sudden I left the chat??

Shield for *********** was activated on the 27th of August, 2015. It was deactivated on the 30th of September, 2015. It was disabled after the end of the free trial month and that is the reason why the charge was made. We are not able to refund this charge - it was made according to the subscription plan that the customer agreed to when subscription was enabled. Please bear in mind that only customer can enable Shield. It can be done on pay.g2a.com account or when making the order (there is an option to enable it during checkout).

If you wish to deactivate a shield during purchase you have to click off button and accept the terms & conditions, so it should look like this: prntscr.com/8m8iiy

As you can see no one force anyone to use shield insurance. If you want you can not accept it, but you need to turn off shield once you making purchase.

I've had some money taken from my bank account by G2A and I haven't bought anything, could you please explain? A total of £2.18.
 
Had the same thing with them. It's a very sneaky and shady way to get extra money from people.

Well, while it's a sneaky thing to do and will catch out many people. It does clearly say what will happen when paying for the item? I'm referring to the second image.
My point to them though was that I always click no, so they've either just done it themselves or there was a glitch with their system.

The problem I have and what most people would say is that I don't have the energy to chase them for £2.18. We should make this a public as possible so others aren't stolen from.
 
i hate to be "that guy" but can you say 100% without question you did uncheck it or are you assuming because you "always do" that you did on this occasion?
 
Did the exact same to me a few months ago, although i did notice after it had automatically subscribed.
I immediately disabled it.
