G41M-E23L based system hanging on POST

I have a system bought from here

ON the first boot after being turned off for a while it usually hangs on the POST screen just after the CPUID line

if I turn it off and on again it comes up fine and works perfectly once booted

any ideas ?

It may be faulty memory, try running mem test just to rule this out.

Thanks for reply downloaded and ran memtest for 90 mins with no problems
