As title really? when are we going to see boards based on the above? Really fancying going mATX, but don't fancy blowing a wad on the DFI Jr board.

I assume you mean from OcUk, as you can get already get Gigabyte G45 and G43's on other planets :)

Really? had a quick scout but didn't see anything. Hmmmz.

Anywho, reason is if i'm building a matx i'd rather get the latest chipset instead of the older one for PCI-E 2.0, the 45nm chipset, better onboard video, and the newer SB.

I just like having new stuffs :D

Oooo liking the look of the ASUS P5Q-EM, that might be the one for me. Saying that however, it is only a nats off the price of a DFI P45 Jr... hmmmm

The IGP is just for when i'm 'between cards', not really a primary concern but just nice to have.

I'd be using a 4870 1GB in the mATX, and I don't like really going backwards with technology so i'd rather have a newer mobo with PCI-E 2.0.

As for i7, the launch soon is only going to be top end parts and full mobo's, won't be seeing any mATX or midrange etc stuff til end of Q1 next year at the very earliest. Not to mention the fact I really don't fancy blowing wads of cash on expensive DDR3 for very little gain.

Anywho, all input welcome, i've by no means made up my mind yet, just getting a feel for what is out as i've not really looked into the new G43/45 chipsets until just now.
