Hi guys, I'm having some problems with my G5 laser gaming mouse.

Whenever I'm playing a game (counterstrike source) my mouse will freeze everyfew minutes for a second or two, my PC makes the noise as if you just removed and replugged it in the USB port but this isn't the case, this also happened with the last G5 I had.

Has anyone else has this problem?

I Have the latest firmware. thanks.

does it happen on other computers? if not then its a problem with either windows or the USB ports :)

Maybe innsufficent power. Is it plugged directly into the motherboard (No hub or anything like that)? Try changing the port so its on a different controller.

Yeah, directly into the motherboard. Can you tell me how to change the port philly?

EDIT: I just switched the mouse between ports and it said it found new hardware, hopefully this will fix it, ill re-post later.

Just unplug it and us a different one :)

If your mobo has 2 stacked up, Sort of like this

{XX}
I think that means they are on the same controller so put it into a different group.
like the bottom one on the right instead of the bottom left.

{__}{XX}

If that makes any sense . . . :p

I used one of those really crap programs that scans your computer and then makes you pay to fix the problems, but I'm not doing that, so can someone make any sense out of the above screenshots? Thanks

Thats just telling you that you have got older drivers than what are available now. The top one is your soundcard you will have to got to creative's site for those and the other two you can get from nvidia's site.
