Probably not worth it then chap. The difference isn't going to be that huge either, although the GT does well in Crysis if that's your fave game.

Personally I wouldn't bother unless its a free upgrade. Better of going for the 4850 if it's going to cost.

I dobut it is of much interest to the OP, but although everything points to a 4850 or similar to upgrade in the future, an Nvidia upgrade would allow the older card to be used as a dedicated PhysX card - the CUDA documentation clearly makes provision for this. However given their shoddy driver support (G80s STILL aren't supported despite their promises) it is probably better to have a clean break and get a new card, recouping what you can by selling the GTS.

Agree with the 4850, much better performance increase and they well cheap, only an extra £18 over the cheapest 8800 GTso well worth it, they are also faster than the 8800 GTS 512mb and the 9800 GTX.
