Is this possible?

Seems that there must still be a huge number of AGP based users out there for manufacturers to keep making top end AGP cards; or is this just a token gesture of sorts/squeezing the last pennies out of a slowly dying standard?

Anyone have any info/thoughts on this?

Cheers

By keeping it pcie nvidia can practically guarantee sales of their mobo chipsets.

So I think keeping new cards on pcie is not only a way of pushing their own products to the consumer, but also forcing the consumer to get up to date.

AGP is a bit long in the tooth now, it's not like it's going to make a come back.

That's a good point Z.

Rgr that Noxis, I see your point, but never really understood what actual difference in performance in real terms PCI-e GPU, DDR2 ram, CPU etc would make when compared to a high end AGP based system. Are we talking big differences in game play/efficiency?
