g80 v g92?

Heya,

I am about to be given a Asus 8800gts 320 meg as a belated birthday gift. Am i assuming right that this has a g80 core?

Whats the difference between this and the current 512 g92? can i expect a big dip in performace when compared to each other. Esspecially in Crysis?

Yes there is a fair difference to be honest I think, have a look at the cyrsis benchmarking thread and you will find that the single GTS 512mb does very well.

The best 320mb GTS come in at 33.285fps, while the first 512mb GTS come in at 54.33fps
