Hello Guys,

I have been using a LG 48 CX as a monitor for the last few years and it has been amazing my desk is very long so its fine. But time for an upgrade I'm going to put the cx in the living room to watch movies so which of the 2 monitors would you suggest for mostly gaming and a tiny bit of web browsing?
I mostly play modern games (single player RPG some multiplayer) a lot of tactical games like Arma Ready or not ect... some old games aswell so not sure the 32:9 aspect is a good idea.
What would you guys suggest for the most immersive gaming?

I decided to go with the G9 but there are 2 versions in my country a little confused
Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 - G95SC and

Samsung LS49CG950SUXEN what is the correct version?

Remember that 32:9 is not widely supported by video games and to drive G9's resolution comfortably I would advise to pair 4090 with it for new AAA games (if your target is 120fps). Also if you have never used a curved monitor your reaction to it may be negative.

Two years ago I tried ultrawide myself, 21:9 to be precise so not as extreme as 32:9 and mostly widely supported by games, but this year I went back to 16:9 and now I must say I prefer it and I don't think I am ever going back to UW for a few reasons.

Hey Muzi thx for the input I have a 4090 64gb of ram and a 5800X3d, as for reaction I went to a shop in my country and thought it was amazing.

Thank you maybe you can help ony second post not sure whick version is the correct latest version.
It is best if you ask the seller. As far as I know, when it comes to G9 oled one version is a monitor with smart tv features and the other the less expensive one is just plain monitor - at least in my country. Best to confirm which is which before buying of course..
