Surely they won't do a Geforce 9800 series?
Wouldn't that be far too similar to the Radeon 9800 set?

wonder what they will call it?

We all know that the more Xs you can fit into the name the faster it will be (scientific fact).
I like the sound of:
"Geforce X9900GTXSXX Ultra XXX!!!!!oneone"

or perhaps "omg_this_card_WTFPWNZ_ALL GTX"

I don't see why not really.

You had the Radeon 9800 pro

Now you will have the Geforce 9800 GTX

Just because ATI used the number 9800 nearly 5 years ago doesn't mean that no one else can use it :) It's not as if they have a patent on the number lol.

I don't see why they're so stuck on this 4-digit naming thing.

Why not called it the Series 9, or 9 series, or something completely different.

In fact I vote they call it Bob.

I second Bob. If they named it Bob I'd buy it.

Reminds me of a pub I visited in Denmark in 2005.

The only reason I went in there was the name, when I saw the big sign outside with "Maybe Not Bob" proudly written there, How could I walk past and not go in? Coolest named pub I've ever been in, and a nice pub too :)

I think I've just found my life's quest.
Even the kitchen cleaners are hot at that place.
