GA-73PVM-S2H Help

Hi all
I have this motherboard in my PC GA-73PVM-S2H.
It has on-board graphics and audio. The audio is fine but the dvd playback is really choppy. I have loaded all of the drivers that came with it but it still is rather nasty and not sharp at all. Seems to be ok where there is slow movement but where something moves quick it is quite horrid.

Anyone know what the problem might be on this? It also gets a really low Vista score (1.0). Dunno whether to buy a cheaper but better graphics card and stick that in it?

Any suggestions?

I am running 4gb ram

How much RAM have you got allocated to the graphics in the BIOS?

What are you using to play the DVD?

Try VideoLAN/Media Player Classic/etc.

I have the same board as part of my HTPC and have no trouble playing 720p and 1080p MKVs.

I have no idea on the BIOS bit, i'll have to check that out
On the player side, i was using Windows Media Player

Tell ya what.
I dont seem to have anything on my PC called nVIDIA, shouldnt i have a app or something? I dont recall seeing anything on the CD that came with the board
