I have one PCIe x 16 slot for a graphics card.
I'm wanting to have budget "CAD workstation".
I'm thinking that perhaps what you would do is go to the appropriate web-pages, and look at supported graphics cards of a good CAD program - like say SolidWorks or AutoCad. Even if you were as yet not able to afford these programs.
From the list, you would simply get the best card that you can afford.
Is that about right process?
I was thinking of spending say £50 on a graphics card. Don't know what the implications of that would be. TIA.
