GA 965P-DS3P On-board or SB Audigy SE 7.1

Hello all,

EVE Online requires a soundcard with 12 channels or more. Does anyone know if the Gigabyte 965P-DS3P rev 3.3 motherboard have an on-board soundcard with more than 12 channels or will I be forced to buy a dedicated sound card?

If I have to buy a dedicated sound card will the SB Audigy 7.1 be enough?

I don't want to buy the Audigy SE to find out a few weeks later that my on-board sound card is better.

Audigy.

Compared the two when I got my DS3 against a stock Audigy LS and it was better by a fair bit.
