GA-990XA-UD3 fails to power on

Does seem like potentially a mix up between the version of the PSU and cable bag.

I'll contact OcUK and see what they say. I can't really afford to send the PSU back in as it's down time for mining, already a day down.

Hopefully I can be sent the correct cable bag then I send mine back. Here's hoping.

Yeah same as what I have - having looked it up its the V2 860 platinum plus - the 4x2 PCI-e cables should fit in the PCI-e row on that.

EDIT: Doh I was looking at your photo wrong (the difference in the designs was throwing me) - you defintely should not have 3x2 (on the PSU end) PCI-e cables with the V2 PSU.

Well I definitely have 3x2 on one end (labelled as PSU) and two 6 pin (+2) PCIe on the other end.

RMA accepted by OcUK. I've ordered a different PSU, Silverstone 1000W Gold this time, which should be able to run a third card should I get another.

Shame I really like my Seasonic other than the cables which IMO aren't upto the same quality as the rest of the unit :| and looks like the quality control on the cables is possibly lacking.

I have the Seasonic Gold in my gaming PC, no issue with it. But I fancied some more wattage as headroom and Silverstone make great PSUs as well.
