GA-MA770-UD3! Whats a good CPU this board can take?

hey,

just trying to upgrade just the CPU on one of my kids pc's but not sure which is best to look for as i heard there was problems with Am3's

Theres 3 revisions, you will find which rev yours is by the sound chip written/silk screened onto the PCB.

Then have a look what the cpu support list says for that revision.

CPU support list is here and the best it will take is a Phenom II x6 1100T.
