Hi have been overclocking my e8200 on the board in the title, I got to 3.2ghz before seeing errors so pushed up the "cpu voltage control" to 1.3V and restarted and started linX testing (so far have 9 passes) before I noticed that in both cpuid and pcwizard the cpu voltage is still reporting as 1.232V.

I'm assuming this has to be wrong since with stock volts linX failed on the first test and now its doing fine, guess I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance :)

Also if the above programs are not reliable for cpu voltage can anyone recomend something that is?

Cheers. :)

Edit* upon closer inspection its fluxuating between 1.264 and 1.232 is this normal? vdroop? or something else?
I'm now up to 3.4 ghz and it's still passing in linx so its obviously increased the voltage I just don't understand the readings :/

Ok so I worked out that the motherboard isn't an exact science on increasing voltages and that vdroop, heat and load can causes the voltage fluctuation.

I dropped the voltage back on my overclock and went back to 3.2Ghz because the stock cooling was a little too toasty for my liking, my next question is to anyone that has the same board or has experiance of it.

Hows the northbridge stock cooling on this board? I can't push the chip any further on the stock cooler (will probably replace this soon) so was going to up the mch voltage a notch to see if that might help get 3.4 stable.

On looking at the cooling on the NB though it really isn't filling me with confidence :P
