Hi all,

I'm trying to confirm if this is a faulty board as its being really awkward to isolate the problem.

Basically all RAM tests hang. OS runs fine no BSODS or freezes though.

It's had 4GB OCZ RAM (OCZ2P800R22GK) in with a load of changes to voltages and timings trying to get memtest to pass. Games would hang around 10min of play.

It's now got 4GB GeIL RAM (GX22GB6400UDC) in and it still hangs memtest but with the board set to auto for all the timings/voltages games havent frozen on me yet.

I've tried testing sticks individually, as well as trying F8 BIOS, and reverting to F6 BIOS which is what's currently loaded.

Any ideas??

Running with a 780 OCZ ModXStream and an Intel E6850

If the RAM is failing MemTest then it's possibly the RAM. I'm using 4 sticks of 1Gb Crucial Ballistix PC8500 in one of mine and 2x2Gb sticks of Patriot PC6400 in the other, and both are fine. Not all RAM is compatible with all motherboards.
