GA-P67A-UD4 possible replacement after finding out its a B2.....2 years too late?

So i have a GA-P67A-UD4 mobo with an i5-2500k CPU, GTX670 GPU, SSD, DVD drive and HDD.

Never needed to use more than 2 SATA ports so just used the 2 SATA3 ports.

Now i have another HDD and have found it the Mobo is a B2 and the SATA2 ports dont work.

Saw there was a recall, but that was 2 years ago.

I have contacted OCUk and Gigabyte about a replacement but i dont expect anything as i dont have the invoice anymore (over 2 years ago).

So i have been looking at replacements to buy (which i hate as i really dont have the money).

So out of the following what would you recommend:

The Gigabyte Z77X-D3H is the closest match to your board out of those four as it supports SLI+Crossfire at 8X/8X.

If you want a single GFX card setup then the Z77-D3H is the best budget Z77 board.

cant so why gigabyte wont replace the board

was free replacement for a b3,depends what they have on the shelf,might even get a z68

Well Gigabyte were quick with their response.

But.

The the replacement scheme ended March 5th 2012 so no replacements are given, and the RMA will cost me £30 handling charge.

So i think i'll just get a new mobo.

Should i go for a z77 chipset mobo which gives me access to 3rd gen Intel processors.....though i have an I5 2500k.

Or should i just look around for a cheapish z68 mobo?

Looking at them, i dont see anything other than access to 3rd gen processors that worth the extra ££ if any.

If you can find a cheap Z68 (I sold a Z68XP-UD4 in the members market for £40 the other day)then go for it.
