Hi all

Just upgraded from my old faithfull Q6600, it served me well ;)

Im relatively stable at 4.7 @ not sure what volts :/

thing is i dont know which reading is true?

i get 1.368-1.380 in the M.i.t screen in bios
then in the Adv volt setting screen it shows 1.370 while i set [1.440]
but in Cpu-z it shows 1.380-1.392 at idle then goes down to 1.308-1.368 under linx load.

Would just like to know what volts im actually putting thu the chip so i can be happy with were to leave it for 24/7

i had my Q6600 at 1.75v for 3.5 years and it still running fine, but im reading that i might not get away with silly volts on this i5

I use CoreTemp to tell what is currently going through the CPU as CPU-Z misreads it a lot! I'm currently testing 4.8ghz at 1.4 and want to see if I can drop the volts down to just below that while keeping it stable.

CoreTemp is about the same for me (1.370) so still miss reading from the value i actually have to put in the bios :/
Temps are approx 67 so might push a bit more when i have time :)
