GA-X38-DS4 E8400 What memory?

Hi all

First post and my first build, atleast for myself, for a while....

As the title indicates im wondering what would be the best memory for this CPU & Mobo config..
I`d like to try and do some moderate OC`ing, nothing outrageous, i do music on PC so more cycles the better.. But not to the detriment of stability..

Im going to use a normal 7200 ATA HDD a Zalman 500w PSU and a Zalman CNPS9700 cooler, i hear stock`s ok, but being a music maker, quiet is good !

I have been looking at getting two 1gb sticks, and i`m leaning towards these

just not sure which`d be best, or is it much of a muchness??

I know it`s better not to skimp on memory if poss but i feel the 8500 is possibly overkill, and a bit pricey too

Any help would be great, as i said it`s been a while and i`m coming from a athlon XP 3200, so i`m really relishing the new build !

nothing wrong with any of that memory mate, get the geil 800mhz ultra low latency you wont be dissapointed, i'm currently using them at fsb445 (890mhz) 4 4 4 12, awsome bit of kit for the price

Also, anyone know if the Zalman 500w PSU is ok for my build? Powerful enough for every day use..
And also anyone know if the Zalman CPU cooler fits properly on this board? Or do i have to get the pliers out !!
