Hey guys

Got a newish board to replace my slightly faulty Z77 mobo and seem to be hitting some problems.

The main problem is the PCIE slot (s), in that well they aren't working.

Bios version is U1b

The board was bought in good faith that everything was working but unless I'm missing something???

Has anyone else had this problem? know how to fix it?

I know they should work
Card is a GTX480 known to work as it did 4 hours ago in my Z77 board.

I'll try doing the bios and report back.

could be bios issue with that card im not sure

cant be anything else, maybe psu incompatibility,i know ocz psu's don't work too well on gigabyte boards, not all but some

ok try clearing the cmos, leave motherboard battery out for 10 minutes and then try

if still no display try with onboard graphics

It was working via the onboard, well sort of, just tried the battery out trick and nothing, same as before, ahh well looks like the board is going back.

I just don't know what to do, it's being run via the onboard hdmi, and it just won't boot, it gets to the bios screen, then my monitor flashes no signal and that's it, it's been running like that for about half an hour now.

does your monitor have vga/dvi ports? test with those

oh and try the latest final bios of gigabyte website, idk if U1b is the latest final
