GA-Z87X-OC bios setup

Hi people I am looking for some advice on the best bios settings for this motherboard from other people with same or people with good knowledge. I am running it with i5 4670k standard and 8gb corsair vengance red ram 2133mhz. I had a problem fitting ram because of the bequiet cooler so the ram is in DDR 3(1) and (3) furthest from cooler. Thanks in advance!

yeah just use the orange slots on the board if your cooler is blocking the first and 3rd slots

and about bios settings what OC are you looking for ? ? ? also first thing to do is enable XMP on your memory if it has it then change uncore to 4.2 then run memtest86 for 2 complete passes then run test 6 and test 7 3 times each

if you pass that your good to start clocking the cpu test 6 and 7 are usually the tests that would fail on memory before any other tests.... if you get a failure on test 7 its usually settings are to tight in the sub timings and if you fail test 6 its usually a combination of not enough uncore voltage or main timeings.

You might be running single channel memory in those slots,pretty sure its slots 2 and 4 for dual channel,check in CPU-z memory tab
