I'm playing Quakelive CTF. It's late at night, a very tight 3v3 game and I have a bottle of vodka next to me. We go two flags up and I have their flag again. I am very comfortable farming the home armour, ammo and mega. I've held their flag for around 7 or 8 minutes reasonably easily against frequent attacks and I'm confident of holding on until the end of the game even if we don't get ours back.

.....and then I'm disconnected from the server!!! Nooooooo!!!

So what are your facepalm gaming moments?

Haha, off to bed shortly. Drinking keeps my rail aim straight

(I very much doubt that but at least I don't care so much when I miss)

The update tonight broke a few things, picking up multiple powerups i.e. quad + regen will drop you from the server.

Looks like it was the whole of QL down for an upgrade.

For some reason I just imagined you as a Soviet Sniper in World War 2 lying under bodies as you have a face off against a Nazi sniper on the other end of the buildings.
