Gadget to help improve spelling ?

I know you can buy standard spellchecks, but its only used to input the word you want to spell.

Do you know of a gadget that speaks a list of words you input or chooses it self to help improve my spelling ?

A spell checker isn't going to catch the fact that you think it's okay to put spaces before question marks.

Your spelling seems quite fine to me though, out side of the space before the question mark. There's a lot of people on here with far worse spelling.

Sounds as if he wants someone to read and write for him!

sounds more like he wants a spelling test in electronic form he can carry round to continually improve.


you might be able to find an app for smart phones the other option is to buy a little note book, and on say Sunday write out a list of words you find hard to spell/just a random list of words, in the back.

then through out the week try to write them down in the front and check if you're right each night.

by the end of the week you should be able to spell the whole list perfectly and can make a new one for next week.

This post highlights the issue with spell checkers though, you really need to understand words in context and I expect one of the better ways to do this is to read more. If you ever get to words you have difficulty with research them online and practise writing them. You'll build a wider and fully useable vocabulary over time along with a better understanding of grammar etc.
