Gah - Vista constant disk access on RAID 1 setup - Make it stop!!

As title, just installed Vista from fresh on the following setup for a friend and the HDD is almost constantly thrashing! It's doing my head in, and I am pretty sure will do his too....

Asus P5Q Pro Turbo
Intel E8400 cooled with Titan Fenrir -Awesome btw
XFX GTX260
2x 2GB Kinston HyperX 8500
2x 500gb Samsung F1 in Raid 1
Pioneer DVR217
Corsair HX520
Antec 300

Make the thrashing stop...please

Thanks for the replies, I guess I will see what happens tomorrow. It seems to be a lot better now at least.

Hmmm, installed Office, and after installing, the thrashing is continuous again, and has been for the last 5 minutes!

Grrr, is it going to do this every time something is added to the disk? If so, I need to turn off whatever service is causing this. Would drive you nuts
